What a beautiful night for a hill run! Jason, Randell and I hit the gap tonight and got some great runs in. I got some video and should have something together soon.
I was Randell's first time at the hill and he did great. Has a great line, he'll be super quick after a few more visits.

First soccer game with United FC

Dad finally got me to play soccer again. I joined his 30+ co-ed team. I haven't been on the field in close to 15 years. We played at Holston river park and of course I was huffing and puffing about 5 minutes in. I did however have a great time and even scored twice! Look forward to playing more!

2 Year Anniversary!

Mary and I went to see Cars 2 and had dinner at the Melting Pot for our anni! Had a great time and look forward to many many more!!

The American plague

Went over the Sullivan's to see TAP play after watching the Gold Cup finals at the Taco. It was great to see some old faces I hadn't seen in a while. Alex was rocking a Riot shirt too!!

Travis and Lauern got hit...

Pretty hard by the storms late Tuesday night. Got some major clean up to do. It's like a war zone compared to our side of town.

Trivia night at Hooters = early night

We are at Hooters following last weeks trivia domination by Arron and crew (unlimited free wings to trivia winners). 12 of us killing some free wings and destroying trivia when mother nature comes to ruin things. First the satellite TVs go, then comes the dark dark skies and before we knew it sideways rain crazy rain and bam no power. Out for at least 45 minutes and they tell us we have to go. We got a free dessert for trivia but that wasn't enough. I feel robbed. At the time we only had 1 wrong answer half way through the 2nd, well on our way to free wings again. Ohwell, guess we'll have to try again next week haha.

Got a new iMac at DMG over my vacation weekend. Nice little surprise after a crazy Monday.

Pittsburgh day 2

Obey piece

Today we walked over to the downtown area to check it out. Pretty cool, has it's spots. We went to the Andy Warhol museum as well which was awesome! Mary, James, Dad and I went there. Most of the folks weren't interested.

Had great seats for this one, looking at the city scape. After we went to RiverTowne Bar and hung out til about 1am and got some good catching up in.

It was a great trip and can't wait for next year!

TIME TO HIT THE ROAD

Dad, Donna, Mary and I left for Pittsburgh on Thursday around 4:20. I took over driving after dinner and ended up getting a ticket on 19 only 30 miles from our hotel. The officer cut me a break but still gave me a ticket.

Our hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Right next to PNC park too! The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were awesome. Those divided style rooms with a couch and a large LCD TV.

Had a great day! Ate at The Bus's (Jerome Bettis) restaurant along the river and got a little sun. It is a beautiful area and honestly I expected it to run down and dirty. PNC park is beautiful! The game went into extra innings and things got a little crazy. We had 20+ people with us, all in Phillies gear and just about everyone in the shirt I made. There were some Pirates fans that were getting a little lippy. We all know why, the Phillies have regained their top tier status as a team while the Pirates are still horrible and can't seem to put together a winning season. Well to protect those involved someone in our group got tired of hearing it and got in the face of "the lumberjack" as I called him, due to his tan Pirates hat and tan shirt. Well he still didn't let up and Mr. lumberjack got an open hand across his face. He was out matched and retaliated by throwing his beer. Well both were thrown out. A Pirates fan in front of my actually turned around and told me he had it coming, talking about the lumberjack. So this cause tension in our section. A local turned around to the lumberjacks friend and started yelling at him due to excessive cussing, he was removed. Then...a lady in front of us starting antagonizing another member of our group. They had thrown a few drinks back earlier so it went start to shouting back and forth. This member of our group was removed also.
