Lake day

Took Miller to the lake today. He was loving the little walk way to the bow. He would walk up it and then back up down it. He did it quite a few times. It was hilarious.

Mary's new ride!! - 2006 Honda Pilot

We got Mary a new car today and she absolutely loves it! It was the first one we looked at but they wouldn't budge on the price. 3 weeks later they dropped the price and meet our offer. I got an amazing APR with my credit union and an awesome setup for Bi monthly automatic payments. I have a few plans for it but first on the list is to add a nav, just need to figure which one to go with.

Work showcase - Let's Go Eat Shirt

In an interview after scoring his first game winning run Hunter Pence said, "Good game, let's go eat!" I have been working with a company up in Philly that creates shirts for all the sports teams and was brought in to produce this one.

It was a day turnaround and I think turned out pretty good.

Henkel party

Today Mary, James, Micheal and I headed to Reading to look at a car for Mary. A 2004 4Runner, fully loaded with low miles. The thing drove great and was prefect but they wouldn't budge on the price and was pretty rude. We walked away, there will always be another one.

Mary got pretty car sick on the way home so she napped a while and gmom and I watched the Phils game. Mary woke up and we headed over to the Henkel Party. Had a great time and the laughs never stop there.

Grandmom and I watching the Phillies game.

Joey's Navy graduation and commissioning

Joey leading his group. It was a pretty impressive sight. He was yelling at them, calling at commands and all that jazz. I ran about half a mile with them before my shinsplints kicked in. (Joey is just about in the center of the pic. He is in a grey shirt 3rd from the back)

The Fam right after Joey's private commission.

ENS Henkel salutes LCDR Henkel for the first time

We headed over to the base at 0430 for a 0500 run with Joey then back to the hotel to change, then back to to base at 0700 for a private commission between LCDR Henkel and ENS Henkel. Then back to the hotel to pack up and check out. Then back over to base for the 0900 class graduation. After grad Joey said bye to his classmates and we headed back to Philly for what was possibly the WORST driving experience I have been in. 8 miles in 3 hours In north Manhattan. Got back to Gmoms in time for a Phils 10:10 first pitch.

Dads Flex - locked and loaded

Dad was nice enough to let us borrow the Flex for our long long trip. It has done nothing but be awesome! Everyone that has been in it loves it.

It deserved a cool pic. This is an aircraft carrier on the Newport naval base right outside Jim and Donnas hotel. It is in the process of being dismantled.

Newport Navy base - Joey's graduation

Driving on the Philly turnpike around 1am.

After about 4 hours of sleep in Philly we were back on the road to Rhode Island. Mary was a trooper and drove the whole way! It took a while due to traffic but we made pretty good time. Checked into our hotel, chilled a while then headed over to base for the Hi Mom dinner. It was a pretty fancy setup with great food. The weather was amazing too!

Mary and her shoe pics, can you guess everyone?

Back to the hotel for a 0400 wake up call, ha!
