Awesome website

http://soytuaire.labuat.com

That has to be one of the coolest things I have seen on the net in a long time. It's in another language too but it doesn't matter, totally awesome.
There is a loader at the bottom center of the screen, let it load and enjoy.

Terminator Salvation!

Went to see Terminator Salvation with Travis. We met at Downtown grill for a beer and headed to the theater for a 4:50 showing. I was really excited as I love the Terminator movies (T3 was just ok)! I watched T2 today to get ready. I forgot how good that movie is and super violent too. Well we get to our seats, which were awesome (not crowded or anything just really liked the seats). The previews had started but it wasn't one we hadn't seen. Next was the trailer for Sherlock Holmes played by Robert Downey Jr. It looks very good.

While the movie started and I must say the opening seen is just insane! There is a camera pan with no cuts from the ground up to inside a helicopter. As the movie went on the more into I got. I really liked the movie, the effects, and the story. The whole first half of it has you edge with a big question that is slowly revealed throughout the movie.

The end is the only part I felt was a little weak but the rest of the movie made up for it! I really enjoyed this one and I will defiantly be picking up the blu ray when it hits the shelves.

After the movie T and I went back to the bar and hung out and caught up and decided we need to do that more often. We left the bar and headed to his house. Him and Lauren got a new house and I wanted to check it out. The house is very cozy and fits them well.

We were sitting on the back porch chatting and for some reason decided to play poker. I had never played in my life and they wanted to teach me!

Lauren made me a little cheat sheet which helped a lot. I learned a good deal of the basics and I'm looking forward to playing with them again at one of there weekly poker nights they host.

Da weekend.

SATURDAY
Got some work do on the tattoo. This was my 3rd visit. We got the cardinal finished up and added some orchids (the flower that will be in the wedding). That pic down there only reflects about an hour and a half of the 3 and a hour I was there. He did a great job and I can't wait to go back! But it will be a while before I do. Probably not until fall (I missed lake time yesterday cause of it and it killed me! :) ). But now the piece is really coming together.
That night was Mary's bachelorette party. I got home from the tat visit and Mary and Kristin were about to leave and man they were all decked out and lookin' good! I ended up driving them to Nette's house, I was also going to pick them up downtown whenever they were ready. They started off at Palachos in downtown west then headed downtown. Mary was surpirsed at the amount of poeple that showed up for dinner. Several went home as they headed to the old city. Her boss was with them but only made it to the parking lot downtown before she decided to call her husband to come get her. Mary was rockin all kinds of bachelorette gear so she drank for free all night. She said even random people would buy her drinks, haha.

Well I got the call around 3am to head down to get her. I was just getting her as Kristin came home earlier. I jumped in the S and drove down and met her Mariell and Cora at Da Vinics. They had some pie and we decided it would be easier to take Cora home since she is on the way. ONly thing was I brought the S....well they thought it'd be ok for them to double up in the passager seat. Sooo...they did haha. I drove carefully and we got her home safe and sound. We got home and I made Mary some grill cheese and she passed out. I got to bed about 5am.

SUNDAY
Suprisingly Mary was up around 11 with no problems. We hit up Wasabi for lunch, which was amazing as always and my last time before the wedding. :( After we stopped by the wedding photographers house to pick up the engagement pics, which I'll give you a small taste of:
Once we got home we through on out bathing suits and headed to the lake to meet Jim and the boys. Since I had the new tat I couldn't get in the water, meaning I couldn't wake board either...bummer. The water was a tad cold still but man it was nice to be on the lake. All 3 boys wakeboarded and made me want to that much more. Clif brought his boat out and we met up and they went off to get some boarding in. Soon after we passed them a few times as they were just floating around. We decided Michael was going to go for one more run and we'd head in. I called Clif to let him know and he didn't anwser. He called back, and I could instantly tell something was wrong. The last time he pulled up out of water he pulled something in his back, and pulled it bad. He told me he hadn't move since he got back on the boat and that he couldn't. He was in so much pain that we they decided to get moving they couldn't drive fast cause the bumps were hurting him. They caught up to us and we decided to hangout for a few. Clif was laying in the back and didn't move. The worst of all this is that it was Clif's birthday! We chilled for a while and then headed in.

Back on land Clif was out of the boat and could barely walk to the car. He had already deicded to go to the ER and get it checked out. I have never seen him in that much pain and I really hope it's not something serious. I called Molly later that night to see what was up and he was back with the docter at the time. She sent me a text later and said they said it was a muscle spasim, which didn't sound right to me but I'm no docter. I hope to find out more today and I really hope to hear he is feeling much better!

Icon design

Designed this cool little dock icon. Also did the installer bg. They have changed their logo so I will be working on a new design soon, but I thought this one turned out nice.

It's the "D" icon on the far right beside the trash can.

Last night on the Simpsons

I about fell off the couch!

Carb free Rockstar

They were out of my precious regular rockstar so figured it'd be a
good time to try out the sugar free one. It acually isn't that bad. I
was expected it to be pretty horrible. Tastes sorta like nerds.

Sundown with Gavin

Went to Sundown in the City last night with Mary, Jessica and Alicia. Ran into Mariell and JJ and also James and his buddy. This was my second Sundown this year but the first time I actually watched the band. Gavin Rossdale played, you know...the front man for Bush, married to Gewn Stefani. Well it was PACKED! I don't know that many people lived in Knoxville haha.

We had a great time and Jessica and I are still recovering. She left her car down here and rode to work with me this morning.

Pic of Gavin on stage from really far away. We tried to find some friends who were really close but the closer to the stage the more crazy packed it got so we turned back. Actually it was really good timing because by the time we got back to where that pic was taken (under trees) it started raining.

My new parking spot

About 2 weeks ago when I was walking into the office I notice a tow truck pull into the lot I park in. I park in a paid lot and don't exactly pay. :) In my defense the spot I use is always empty aaannndddddd there isnt a number on the spot. How do I pay? Anyways I went to the window and there was a lady talking with the tow dude. She was pointing into the lot where my car was making hand gestures and what not. The tow truck drives down by my car and out of sight. "Crap his getting me!" I run down in just enough time to see him leave the lot....without a car in tow. So I assumed there were talking about people like me parking without paying. Also thinking he could be going to get a flat bed truck. So I started parking in the "lot" pictured above. Not really a lot just a super wholy bumpy gravel strip behind our building. I HATE parking there but it's free and close. I can't really wash my car and park there either....bummer.

Check this out though! Take a good good look at that building in the background, the whiteish one. Now check this out!

My dad took this picture many years ago when that use to be a real live passenger train station! He stepped out in front to a stopping train and snapped a pic. Who knew 25+ years later that would be my view from my office window (before I moved in my "real" office)!! That framed picture is hanging on the room at my grandmother's house in Philly.

Dave's Blood Drive PSA

My little cousin Dave and a classmate made this PSA for a school project. The used the firehouse he volunteers at. How awesome is that thing? I was blown away! They did a GREAT job! They won 2 awards: Winner of 2 Mid-Atlantic Region Student Emmy's in 'PSA' and 'Craft Achievement' Categories.

They are supposedly working on another. Can't wait to see it.

I tried messing with the code to get the youtube video to fit with no luck. Apparently the height and width valves in the code don't actually change anything. I gave up.

My new office

Finally got my own office! Has a door and everything, haha. It's nice
and cozy. Today it the first day I have been in it with AC. Wow it's
nice!

Hi there. big update

I feel like I have been slacking as far as updating this thing lately. I'm going to try and add a bit now.

Been dieting still. Still doing P90X and getting stronger and stronger. I sorta fell off the wagon on my bachelor party weekend, which was to be expected. I got back up to 194 but as off last night I was at 191 and some change. Really going to start pushing here in about 2 weeks (1 month til the wedding!!!!!!).

Saturday, Mary, her brothers and I went out to dinner with their mom for mothers day. We went to Margaritas. Later that night, Jessica, one of Mary's bridesmaid's had a couples baby shower for a mutual friend and we stopped by. I didn't know anyone there but quickly made friends with the guys and we had a good time. Mary had a really, really...hiccup...good time. :)

Sunday Mary worked early. Well guess what? On her way to work she found a dog that she thought was hit by a car. She stopped to see if the little guy was ok and he hopped in the car! She said he was favoring a paw and looked to be shaved there. Her mom came and picked him up from Walgreens and Joey took him to Young-Williams at 1 when they opened. They scanned him and sure enough he was chipped. They contact the company that holds all the registered accounts and they contact the owners. If he goes unclaimed for 3 days they are to contact Mary. While she was walking the little guy at her work a lady customer approached her. They talked and Mary told her what was going on. The lady said I will take him you can't find the owners. Gave her phone and has since called Mary to check on the status. We haven't heard anything yet about him, so hopefully no news is good news. We have determined he was a well feed (little plumply) miniature pinscher.

Been watching F1 but haven't mentioned it here. Ross Brawn has started a new team, Brawn GP, with Button and Barrichello at the wheels. They had very little off season testing and have won 4 of 5 races and Button is leading the championship by a large margin. The cars at all that pretty (over there on the left) but I love seeing a small nobody become a huge somebody! Ferrari and MClaren are basically back markers. Everyone knows I'm a huge Ferrari fan but the last few seasons they have lost my interest as I don't care much for Massa or Raikkonen. Either seem to have "it." Schumacher left some BBIIIIGGG shoes to fill and they defiantly ain't fillin' them. Once Vettel gets the Ferrari seat then I'll be all over it! haha.

Ok I think that's good for now...

Bachelor Party at VIR

Click that image to see all the pictures and videos.

My dad, being my best man, planned my bachelor party, which was to ride the karts are the VIR track in Danville, VA. Well it was the best bachelor party any man could ask for! All my friends, most of the guys in my family and soon to be family were there! 14 of us!

The karts and track were just awesome. The track had tons of elevation and turns. The day started out with us getting partners, we would share a car. We were in groups of 7 because they could only run 12 cars at a time and 2 on the track is boring. Clif and I got partnered and we pick the 88 car. Clif had the first run with Paul, Jim, Joey, Jason, Dave and Keith. Clif turned fastest lap and beat Paul in second by almost a second. My group geared up and head out. Dad, James C and H, Paul B, George, Michael and I were off. I managed to pass everyone at least once and some twice. :) Arriving back in the "pit" Clif high fived me and told me I best him by half a second!

Now it was qualifying time. Clif beat my time on his second lap and dropped that time down a tad by the end. We had realized that our car was just faster than the other cars, unfortunately. On my qualifying run I got within .07 of Clif but couldn't get any closer. Within 100ths of a second is pretty much the same time. :)

From there we went to the racing. We split into the 7 faster and 7 slower cars. We were to draw car numbers for the running order. It was obvious that who ever got car 88 was going to win, but sssssiiince it was my bachelor party they gave me 88. I smoked them of course. And now that it's after, wish I would of given the 88 to the slowest fastest person and taken a slower car to show my drivin' skills! :)

Either way it was a blast and went by WAY to fast. We are already talking about going back!

The whole weekend was great we never had to leave the track. The hotel and a nice restaurant were on site. Everything was also in walking distance. Dad did have to leave once and that was for a beer run.

Both nights we sat out on porch, talked/caught up, drank and smoked cigars. On Saturday after the races we hung out and watched the Kentucky derby and the Phillies game. We had each on in different rooms and were going back and forth....haha.

Also the guys paid for all my snacks and things on the road trip. I ended up not spending a dime, pretty crazy.

Welp, I really had a great time and it really made my trip that everyone came.

List of the guys and help identifying them on their kart:

James H black helmet - white shirt
Michael H silver helmet - grey shirt

8am at the kart track

Man this thing is going to be fun! The track looks like a blast! We
walked it last night around 11. The forecast for today calls for rain
at 10 which is our track time but as of now it looks like it could
turn out to be a pretty nice morning. Well, fingers crossed!

Heading to VIR

On the road with Dad, uncle Paul and Clif. Keith, Jason and Paul are
in the car behind us. Weather has been good too. James called and he
is almost there! About an hour ahead of us. We have about 90 miles to
go!
