Shooting some shirts for Harley today. It's not an easy process at all.

Sunday night chilling

Relaxing with Mako (see him in the right sleeping?) and Enzo, to my
left, watching the Phillies beat the Braves. 3-2 bottom of the 8th and
Lidge is warning up. If I chewed fingernails I'd be doing it now!!

Mariells bday bash

Mariell had a pot luck dinner and she provided a keg. Had a blast and
met several cool people. I also managed to not see any of the Titans
game so it's first on the list.

First photo shoot

Did some product shots today for Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson. We
used Travis's studio in our building off Depot. Travis brought his
camera down for us to use and man it produces some believe images. Our
older Nikon just wasn't cutting it. Plus we couldn't plug the strobe
flahses into it. Travis 50D did the job. We shot some shoes, shirts,
mugs and tag frames. I'll be going back on Monday to finish up.

Work Showcase

Homepage and sub page designs for Local ivi. They are streaming West and Hardin Valley High School sporting events. They are pursing all the local schools and eventually branching out to other cities.

Knox IVI homepage

Catholic High School page.

The site is live here www.knoxivi.com. As you can see they went with another logo designed by someone they already had lined up. The logo in these designs were created by me. I didn't have a hand in coding this site due to my Houston trip but I did build the flash video player. Check out the smooth sliding actions :).

At the bowling alley with the Spradlins

...day contiuned

After a fun first day in Houston we all headed to the local bowling alley. It was less than 5 miles from their house and they have been several times since moving there. They had huge projection TVs as you can see in the picture, which was awesome. They also had a "private" room with a small bar and 5 or 6 lanes. We were hoping to get that room with Sandy not really liking the loudness of the main room but there was a birthday party in there.

Nette and Justin had befriended a waiter in their past visits and that waiter had since become a manager. We let him know we'd like that room once the party was over. Well at 8 it ended and Paul (the ex-waiter, new manager) invited us in. It was great! We had our own room and our own bar! (Pictures are coming).

Well we ended the night with tons of fun had, 2 or 3 more drinks per person more than should of been had, a $600+ tab (Nette's mom stepped in on that one and blew us all away), a pair of bowling shoes (Michael!) and 6 shot glasses. I think Nette's mom got tired of our appreciation, but the 3 of us just weren't use to the lifestyle. Overall a GREAT night!

...and that was just the beginning.

In Houston Texas!

We arrived in Houston around 9:30am, central. Nette and Justin met us in the baggage claim. Mary and I greeted, hugged, shook hands, all the normal things and started to venture to our flights baggage round up when a familiar voice was heard, "Where you going sweet cheeks?" Justin whipped around and just had the biggest grin on his face! It was Michael. Justin had no idea he was coming and we managed to hide it from him for 2 months!

After the reunion we headed to the Maywald house. Holy COW! It was the biggest house I have ever been in! Huge 2 store home that could easily be called a mansion in my book.

Nette has 2 sisters, they are twins, Lille and Sandy, each are 10. Sandy is autistic and Nette noticed their meds were on counter. Lille's were vitamins but Sandy's were necessary.

We got the ok and directions to drop the meds off at the tutors place after lunch.

We ate at Buffalo Bills, which was great! Got there around ten til 11 (12 for us) and talked them in to giving us lunch 10 minutes early. This was the beginning of a huge surprise Mary, Michael and I had not anticipated. Nette had her mom's credit card and was instructed to buy us and themselves whatever we needed/wanted.

We dropped off the meds and headed to the country club to meet Nette's mom.

For course we had drinks and had a nice little talk on the patio by the pool of the country club.

After that we head to the mall and drove through some unbelievable neighborhoods. We saw a few Ferraris and many other nice cars. At the mall we got Mary's tiffany jewelery cleaned and I picked up a pair of Marc Ecko jeans at Macy's for the cheap!

We headed back to the house and cleaned up for a night of fun at the bowling alley.

Work showcase

I have decided it would be a good/cool idea to post up some work I have done each week, at least once. If I don't like anything I have done over the week I'll post something older up.

We are going to offer a Spam Filter with our hosting services so we needed a logo to add to the mailers and email blasts. These are what I came up with. The one in the center was selected.

High school reunion!!

Started off the night nice and earlier by hitting The Hill around 4 for some drinks and met up with a few others attending the reunion. Brandon, an old pal, picked me up due to Mary working and she met us about an hour later.

I ended up breaking our camera while at the hill so I was only able to use the phone. :(

We then walked over to reunion at The Foundry. So many old faces!

Mary seemed to fit right in with my old friends. Her and Tighe Smith even danced (I somehow caught someone else's flash in the pic)! I have known Tighe since elementary school and all these years later it's like we didn't skip a beat!

Next we relocated back to The Hill and it was dead so we moved to Barleys in the Old City. That's Will Evans in the pic above getting down. Yet again had another blast there and I think I'm going to try and arrange another get together with all those folks.

We also discovered a girl I was friends with way back then, her and her husband live right across the street from us. They are huge Titans fans so I can see some get togthers happen in the future. Dustin the husband is a huge Braves fan though so we may have to start those get togethers after the Phillies win the series this year.

Can you tell we had fun?

Titans WIN

Titans pull out another preseason win! The first team didn't look all that great leading the team into halftime losing 12-6. VY, Britt 2nd/3rd string D and Ringer showed the Bucs just how strong our depth chart is going to be this year. Titans finished the game out 27-20 and Vince was looking pretty dang good!

Shirt Printing

Headed over to Travis's house today to print my first shirt (actually second but this time I did ALL the work). The design is a Mr. T version of the Obey Andre the Giant illustration. Along with my ov3r "tag" that will be on the sleeve.

We printed the design on an 11x17 transparency sheet and started the burn process.

Burning the screen. Under the light for 20 minutes.

I printed 4 shirts: Black, white, red and grey. All the made designs were printed in red with the tag logo on the sleeve in white. On the white shirt we printed the tag in red.

This is our front sleeve print and we think it turned out nicely, but its very hard to line it on correctly on the sleeve. We are going to come up with some different methods to try out in the future.

I had a TON of fun and can't wait to print some more!

Car troubles?

Had to order my 5th and 6th Falken 912 tire yesterday due to improper alignment and camber. My front 2 of worn down to threads already with less then 6,000 miles on them! They should last 40,000 easy! I also had to drop another 40$ on these dinky looking bars. They are an SPC EVO Front Camber Correction Kit. So now I can adjust the camber and have full contact between tire and ground instead of just the inside corners! The tires will be here tomorrow, super fast shipping for having ordered them late yesterday afternoon

They arrived 2 days later with free shipping! Now that's service!

Titans win!

First 4th down the Titans had in the hall of fame game!
Titans won, 21-18. The 1st team looked great! So excited to see them in a regular season game! VY still has a lot of work to do but he did have a very nice TD pass to Paul Williams.

Titans tickets phase 1!

Tickets for the Nov 15th Legacy Game in Nashville! They'll be rocking the throwbacks! We can't wait!

Fun was had! The real PHS reunion

Tonight I met up with some very old faces at Downtown Grill! I met Brandon Jones, Will Evans and later Tighe Smith and his girlfriend showed up. We had a very nice little meeting. Will had tickets to the Da La Soul show so we head over.

We were all standing in the back and a guy comes in that Will knows and they talked for a minute. Will comes over and stands by me and I asked him who that guy was. He says, "Dude! That's Brad Loveday!" I was shocked, I didn't recognize him at all! Later we ran into Mike Carrol, another guy we went to school with.

All of them had still been in contact and hung out often, somehow I just sorta faded out of that group. After just that one night I wish I hadn't. All these guys are my age, smart and just fun to hang out with. I'm defiantly going to keep in contact with them all and try to get us to all hang out more.

We spent the night catching up and just had a great evening!

I had to run Brandon over to his car so we headed out. Well, the parking lot was just a mud pit.

So my car ended up looking like we spent the night offroading.

Titans! This weekend!

So excited!

They will be wearing throwbacks a few times this year and rocked the helmets in training camp yesterday. They might be waring them this weekend.

Flood update: so far so good!!

After about 45 minutes of pretty steady rain, flooding has yet to show
it's ugly face. I called Friday morning after that horrible Thursday
and Warner the landscaper remedied my problem Monday afternoon. And
not a moment to late!
