Dog watchin' - Holland

We watched Holland, Ben and Allison's dog Monday night. Super, nice great dog. She loves or hates cats though. She was obsessed with Mako, couldn't leave him alone. Mako put her in her place a few times, even drawing blood, but she still came back for more. She spent the majority of her time at our house laying in front of our bedroom door which is where Mako was.

Getting rid of the collection.

For a long long time I have collected my wine (some liquor) bottles and today we got rid of them. We kept the ones with meaning (I keep bottles from special events and add little labels to the back) and freed up a lot of space. Now Mako has his favorite spot on top of the cabinets back!

Day at the Zoo

Went to the zoo today with Travis, Lauern, Aaron, Misty, Madison, Morgan, Ashley and Mary. It was a great day. Afterwards we went to I Love NY Pizza. Pizza was ok, not as good as the company. On the way home we notice dad at his car wash so we stopped by to see him too.

Wine

Tried a new wine, pretty good for under $15.

Riot day

Spent a long day at Riot today. Worked on the press and printed a few shirts.

Friday funday Aaron's birthday

Went out with Aaron for his birthday and hit the town. Lunch at hooters, drinks at DTG, saw Red Tails (sucked) dinner at Nama, and show at Ciderhouse. It was a great time! Found out the theater sells beer now too!

Wearing the Bos for the first time today. 22 years ago today I was watching the Raiders take on the Bengals in my parents living room (they still have the same TV). That was the last football game Jackson ever played in. On a run up the far side line Bo took a hit that produced a dislocated hip. It was a sad sad day. He bounced back and played baseball the next 2 years, I believe.

Wednesday night!

Movie night = met the ADA and chatted for over an hour, missed the movie. Went to the Peter Kern Library after, then home. I decided to have a look at my guns. I haven't shoot them in forever. Possibly going to shoot my new one this weekend. Had it for about 4-5 months but never posted about it. More to come, ha!

We also had some crazy rain today and our front garden got "wash away."

Sickness

Last Wednesday I got hit with the sick stick. Worked a long day and headed over to the bar with Travis and Matt, felt fine. Got home around 7:45, walked the dogs then fixed some dinner. Steak and baked potato, mmmm. Well, after eating, relaxing on the couch it hit me. Started feel bad, getting weak. Went to bed woke up feeling pretty bad.

Been pushing through and still coughing and nose blowing today. But the worst part is Mary has it now. She sounds worse than I did, and I HATE it. I really wish she would call into work but she is programed differently. She knows she has the obligation to be there and no one else can really replace her. I can't get it into her head she needs to relax and rest to prevent the sick from prolonging. I admire the strength she has just wish she'd do it for her.

Ohwell, I really hope it leaves her soon and she is back to 100%!

Troma girl

Travis and I met a nice attractive lady and her husband at the B-Movies event we went to in Indiana. She is a Troma actress and she tried out for the scream queen there as well. Yesterday Mary, Ashely and I were watching Saturday Night Live and I notice something. I instantly rewound it to see if I thought I saw what I saw. Sure enough. It was her. She is in the intro for SNL!
