Diet - week 1 over

Did pretty good on the diet in week 1. Went over on 2 days but Saturday was due to the trip to Which Wich in ATL and was totally unavoidable.

I could of worked out more I think but overall it was pretty easy and I really enjoy using this app to track my efforts.

Trip to ATL for Phils

Sausage & ricotta Flat bread
Olympic aches in ATL for the 96 games
Strongbow
Hamels warming up

Headed out to ATL today with Ashley, Brittany and Mary to see the Phillies take on the Braves. Not very optimistic about them winning but always fun to see the Phils. We stopped at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and in sticking to my diet I ordered off the healthy meau. That flatbread was only 460 calories!

We made our way to the hotel and chilled at the pool for a while before heading to the game. Phils lost in a game that wasn't even close.

Rethink Friday's lunch

Fast forwarded a few days to check out the calories in my usual Friday lunch with the guys. Yikes! Going to have to rethink that one.

Diet time

Back from vacation and ready to get in shape. Mary and I started counting calories using the iPhone app My Fitness Pal. It's a great app and one I'd pay for but it's free. You put in your goals and it helps guide you by providing you with a calorie carbs protein etc. counting and allows you to look up foods, scan bar codes and even enter your own. We are focused and are going to help each other stick to it. We are working out tri-weekly as well.

Travis and I also have plans to tackle the 3 day diet starting Sunday, more on that later.
