The Garage Softball game 2
We had a bye last week so game 2 was upon us. Unfortunately I went a little overboard last night with food and beverages. I wasn't feeling well enough to make the game but the guys pulled it out! With a late could back we won game 2.

The office
Did a ton of house work this weekend. Finally got the "office" done! The Henkel bros came over Friday for Mary's old furniture. So I cleaned out the garage and got it looking sharp, moved the bookshelf and put together the futon. Also added a new table in the kitchen. The living room looks huge now though!

Retired old all purpose sandals...
For some new ones. Old blues lasted 2 lifetimes and survived Enzo's
earlier days! I had them well over 10 years but have now replaced them
with the nikes. They are super comfy and I might need to buy some more
for when these die.

Columbus Ohio Z06 trip
Dad Bill and I drove up to Columbus Ohio to check out an 01 z06. It's
a very nice car drove good. We found a few issues but he is fixing
them and contacting dad later in the week. He'll make his decision then.

Birthday day!
Welp today is the day! The day I turn 30! 30 years of life...
Unfortunately I woke up around 12:30am this morning with horrible stomach and back pains. I went to the computer room to sit in the chair played around online and watch Astroboy. I fell back asleep around 2am. I woke up with Enzo and Mako in bed with me about 6am and I relocated back to the bedroom. 10 o'clock rolled around and we got up to walk the dogs.
Mary couldn't wait for me to open my presents so that was next. She got me a heart rate monitor watch, some awesome ties I have been wanting, and a logo book that's the 4th in the series.
We decided to eat at TOT but I still wasn't feeling 100%.
After lunch we stopped by the Henkel house to check out the progress on the remodeling. New carpet was being put in downstairs and it was looking good.
On the way home we stopped at Target for a few things and headed home.
We crashed on the couch, watching a movie and fell asleep. After the nice nap we got ready for the trip downtown for the bday bash.
It was great to see everyone! I very glad everyone came. There was some slight confusion to some as to when to show up. To me there was a strange feeling in the air. Maybe due to my friends a don't talk to much being there and sitting separate from everyone? Maybe cause Paul made it clear that he is done with our friendship with his actions to Mary? Maybe just cause I turned 30? haha who knows? We had a great dinner, great convos and I got some great gifts!
After it filtered out a few of us went next door to Sapphires for car bombs. They are only 7$ there compared to 10$ at DTGB. We ended up doing 2 of them and each were purchased for me. After going back to DTGB for a while we headed down the Urban. It was about 11:10pm and the door guy informed me I only had 30 minutes, haha. My license expired that night. It was so smoky in there, it had an eerie, something bad's about to happen, comic book drawing feel. There was about 13 of us spread out everywhere. I had 2 beers and Pat ended up buying them for me! I have some great friends. We all called it a night around 12:30-1 and headed home.
It was a great/strange day. Mary and my family did a great job with the party and gifts.

The Garage Softball game 1
Brian and I have joined forces with Michael and several of his friends (now mine too) to take on the world of amateur mens softball. We are called the garage and have only practice once before today's game.
We played a very young team and both teams run up the score. I was up in the top of the 7th (only 7 innings) with 2 outs, runner on 2nd and 3rd, down by 3. Took a ball when smashed a single right up the middle scoring a run and sending a man to third. We ended up taking the led and holding it in the bottom of the 7th to secure win number 1! I went 3-4 with 4 RBIs (one shouldn't of counted).
We have so minor fielding troubles but that will get better with practice and time.

Hockey Playoffs!
Welp it's that time again! The time when I actually watch hockey. Especially this year! Both my teams are in! That's what inspired the image above. But ALL the teams I saw this year, Canadians, Sharks and Bruins are in as well! Crazy eh? Hopefully the Bruins will continue to do good as well since I'm working with them! :)

Finally got a new laptop...
Welp, after going part time and spending time at Travis's house working with the guys I finally broke down and purchased a new computer, A 15 inch MacBook Pro. The one I had was about 5 years old and the keyboard, trackpad and battery no longer worked. I got everything installed and it was running great. But guess what!? This week apple launches their new line of macbook pros with the new intel processors. I jumped on the phone and found out I had 14 days from purchase to swap mine out. So cleaned it off and headed to the Mac store in west towne for the swap. Of course they don't tell you on the phone theres a 10% restocking fee. It was worth the upgrade so I paid it. It's faster, more storage, with longer battery life and a better graphics card.
So excited to finally have a usable laptop again!
