129 run / Evo meet

Met a few fellow Evoers up at the hill. Few were from Nashville and some from NC and KY. It was a great time and I'm really impressed with how well the Evo does up there. It's insane smooth and fast. I'm upset with myself for that being my first time having it up there. I will be going back soon for sure!

Even got to see one of my dream cars! Older post about it. A JDM Integra Type R. This is the real deal, right hand drive. I spoke with the owner for a while and he imports Japanese cars for parts. He unfortunately doesn't import cars anymore due to strict laws and even worse this ITR was his first import to the states and he isn't welling to sell it.

Evo brakes

Changed the pads on the. Didn't really need it but got some fresh pads on before my 129 run this weekend. I love how easy it is, took 1.5 hours to do all four corners!

White iPhone 4 finally!

Mary finally got a new phone. She was long over do! Got the whitey iPhone 4 the day it was released. Thanks Ben!

The Titans 2011 newest edition

The 2011 draft kicked off lastnight. The Titans had pick 8 and all the big draft "experts" had us taking DT Nick Fairley. I would of been happy with this pick but from my point of view, without Vince Young, a QB was a pretty big concern. When Roger Goodell said, "with the 8th pick the Tennessee Titans pick, Jake Locker." My jaw hit the floor.

I seems to be a good pick. I'm excited to see what happens.

New watch!

Finally got me a new watch. Happy bday to me.

New addicition: Fantasy Baseball

I was asked to play in a league with some friends and I invited dad to join as well. We started the Tuesday after opening day and I have been addicted ever since. I look at my team constantly, I check the scores during league play nonstop or until I fall asleep.

I picked up a pretty good pitching staff and they have been pushing me through the games. I last my first round only by a few points after leading the full week, up to the last day. I have since adopted a pretty nice little strategy, we'll see if anyone catches on, ha! Welp, got to go check my team...

31st!

Welp, my first year in the the 30s is over. It was a good year, had it's ups and downs (definitely started with a down). I don't feel old and I have no problem with the number attached. I have realized I need to do something about my health as I have been feeling weakish and down lately. I think it has everything to do with my eating habits and lack of exercise. The bad thing is I do realize these things yet I do nothing about it. By the time I get home from work the last thing I want to do is workout and eat a salad.

I'm hoping for a change in work schedule soon which will allow me more time in the mornings to get my workout done. I have found if I workout in the morning I tend to treat myself better throughout the day.

Otherwise I feel good at this point in my life and I look forward to enjoying another 31 years!

New hats!

Gatlinburg for my bday

Mary and I came up to gBurg for a little get away. We had a nice late lunch at smokey mountain brewery then we walled down the strip for some ice cream and adventure. We decided to go into Ripleys believe it or not. I have been wanting to go there since the first time I every came up to Gatlinburg. Well about a quarter the way in the power goes out. We hung out around an open area overlooking to entrance when an employee came in to tell us when would need to exit and that the whole town was without power! So we got a refund and headed to the car.

There was a storm headed in and the wind was kicking but no rain thunder or lighting, yet.

We went to the grocery store only after calling to check if they had power. As you can see in the pic not ALL the power was on. We got back to the condo just in time for the heavy rain.

But can't control his crazy lickin'! Haha to cute to be mad at him from reaching up on the stove (not hot) and uncontrollably licking it out of the bowl, flinging it on his face and all over the kitchen.

Uconn wins and so do I!

Uconn pulled off the win and propelled me to victory! 12 guys were suppose to play but only 4 actually tired. You see 5 but Travis bailed. I should be 40$ richer but I don't see that happening!

I had a great time playing, picking, thinking and watching. Can't wait til next year to do it again!

Had a great night out with Ben, Jacki, Randell, Jason and Mags!! Had MVP action this time. Yup still sobering up at this hour.
