After almost 2 weeks of using Mary's super old Sony Ericsson I finally got back into an iphone. You can see the sim card I had to cut to fit a micro sim card in to use it. iPhones are the ONLY phone AT&T carries that uses a micro! I'm still a little shocked it worked!

Bruce Pearl at Aubreys
Mr. Pearl with another man having some lunch. They sat there as long as we were there and no one spoke to him or really acted like he was there. I thought this was sorta strange.
As we left they were still in the parking lot talking and I can only assume that the black car to their left is Pearl's Bentley Continental convertible! It's a shame, in my opinion, to waste so much car money.
Here is a better pic of one.
The 2010 Titans
Johnson isn't on track for his 2500 yards but does rank 5th in the league right now after 3 games with 301 yards. Whats crazy is former Vol Arian Foster has 406 and leading the league with the Texans.
Titans are 7th in overall defense which is shocking. I believe once they get a bit more team on the field they will move up to a top 5 D.
Cool to see there's still love for Keith Bulluck, whatever the reason he isn't a Titan. Very strange to see him on the other side of the ball after 10 years of Titans service.

The day the Phillies clinch NL east for 4th time in a row!
After a long day of work I'm driving home in hopes of my iPhone dock connector replacement being in the mailbox. Arriving at Cate Rd, on West Emory traffic stops. I'm about 5 cars back from Cate and there is a car in the oncoming lane parked in the grass and looks like it was hit so hard that the trunk looked open from my angle. There was another car about 40 feet behind it, centered in the lane that was smashed and possibly another car behind it. It seems once a month it's the same scenario, car stopped to turn, car behind not paying attention, BAM. A man walks out in front of the line of cars in front of me to a point that I can't see him. Cars start coming by, he must be directing, sweet I'll get to go soon. I watch an ambulance drive up and park in our lane, awesome. 2 cars on Cate pull out and turn left towards me, so there is an opening. I decide to take it. I squeeze through and see a stretcher being prepared. Thats horrible that something as simple as not paying attention could cause so much pain.
It's 5:35, rainy, need to walk the dogs, have to leave by 6:30 and my iPhone part arrived. Get everything done and start with the iPhone disassembly. That story is worthy of a post so we'll skip that.
Let's get to the sports! I'm a little pissed that my phone is down cause I can't keep up with the Phillies game and a win clinches the division.
I pick up Ben again 7:15 and we head to B-dubs. We walk in, up the stairs and around the corner to the massive room full of TVs. There is a mixture of a baseball game and ESPN on them. CRACK!! The sound of a well hit ball blares from the baseball game...holy &^&@! It's the Phils and holy %@&*! It's Werth ripping a homer putting them up 1-0. The game is on!
The football game started and the Phils game stayed on! I was able to watch the full game, Halladay's 21st win, 8-0 victory clinching the NL east and the celebration that followed.
The game winners, Halladay (pitched the full game) and Werth (only needed one to win this one) enjoying our 4th NL east championship.
It's on it's way to my front door as I type! :)

My tee in a Museum Show!
Got an email from Threadless on Tuesday letting me know my shirt is in a museum show at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, in the TechnoCRAFT Exhibition: Techno-Craft: Hackers, Modders, Fabbers, Tweakers, and Design in the Age of Individuality in San Francisco, CA.
How cool is that? The exhibition dates are: July 6 - October 3, 2010

Started the Tattoo back up...
Finally got my appointment with Matt to start the tat back up. I had to book my appointment a month out! Dude is busy but it's easy to see why. This was a 12 - 5 visit and all though it doesn't look like it's much ( Check out visit ) it is defiantly a lot of planning and detail. I'm super excited to see it finished. He wants to fit me in earlier rather than later, so I'm going in on Oct 7th at 10am, before they are open.

Clif's Bachelor Party
Woke up at 5am to meet up with Keith and Jason to head to Clif's house at 5:45. We met up with everyone at Starbucks and headed to Starburst. Starburst is a white water raffling company, one Clif, Tim, Paul and I used about 4 or 5 years ago. There were 15 of us, so 5 to a boat, 3 boats. Clif, Keith, Jason, Paul and I were grouped up. Jason and Keith had never been and Jason wasn't really feeling it.
We set off on a day that couldn't of been better. Our guide, Potts, a college chick, was just awesome. She handle our goofiness perfectly and was an excellent guide! It was 10x more fun than last time. She told us a lot about the river, did some surfing, some "let's drown the guys in the front" moves (Paul and I) and showed us an endangered plant.
It was a great time and we all had fun! All the boats lost at least one passenger except us and the "skins" boat all got tossed.
In the pic above see Paul falling and me grabbing him. Clif and Keith on row 2 and Jason with Potts in the back.
We decided to camp at Sunburst and half of us paid. Once we got back after a quick bite no one was there. We managed to get be the fence and to the campsite, which was more like a dirty, slopped, mosquito infested, no parking, annoying campground. We promptly left and drove just down the road and found a nice free spot. Apparently everyone else around decided the same spot would work. We shared the site with about 60 others.
We had a fun night of stories, drinking and clowning around. The pic above is about 7:45am. We has 6 tents, you can see the top of Clif's (red) and Payne's is next to his out of the frame.

iPhone 4 done...
I was planned to pick up and transport Mary and crew for a bachelorette party at 9:30. So I decided to got the Apple store and see whats up. I also wanted to buy a new Nano. Once there they fit me in and I bought the Nano. Thing looked awesome and came in a super small package. The Mac genius takes a look at my dock connector and says, "Yeah I thought so, have a look." Hands me a magnified light to check out the connector. Corrosion, and it's all over it. Also the moisture indicator was slightly turned.
Outside of warranty and easily replaced for $199. There is no way to recovery data I was told, so at least 600 images are lost, the panic sets in. I went and got my computer and sat at a table in the apple store looking for ways to move images. Found a few but it only transferred one at a time. That and emailing just aren't going to work.
After spending time at Apple and Starbucks it was time to pick up the girls. After dropping off 6 chicks downtown I headed home in the diamante leaving the S for Mary to drive at Alicia's. I get to Cate Rd and the passanger side front tire just goes completely flat. It's after 10:30 when I get home. I hadn't had dinner, freaking about my phone and had to put on the spare. Had dinner, researched the phone, changed the tire, picked for the bachelor party and got in bed at 1:45am with the alarm set for 5am.
In my research I found out I could order an OEM dock connector on ebay and replace it myself. So it's on order and I also ordered all the necessary tools for disassembly.

Oregon at the Vols
Jim and I headed out to the game around 330. We parked in the Old City and walked up to Market Square. My buddy Cary was outside Preservation Pub sitting up the chairs, and we decided to grab a drink there. Cary is the bartender there, but only to learn. He is preparing to open his own bar. Can't wait til he does, going to be awesome.
After 2 beers we walked over to Soccer Taco for dinner. Then we headed up to the Stadium.
Minus the crazy rain delay and the Vols getting crushed it was a fun time.

And it begins....again!
Today, September 1st marks the beginning of another diet period. I really fall off the wagon after the wedding but its time to get back in shape. I can't wear some of my fav shirts and that is really annoying. I'm always tired and lazy. Time to get up, get out and do somethin'.
Travis and I have placed a small wager on this. He is going to start today too. We are shooting for 20 pounds of loss plus. The winner buys the loser a $100+ bottle of scotch. Only thing is, only us 2 can drink it. So it's win win. Lose weight and get to sit back and enjoy some fine victory scotch.
