Zombieland sneak peak and called out by a 104.5 DJ

Today Travis met me at the studio to help me out with a Harley-Davidson product shoot. We went to Barley's for lunch and Mike D text him asking if he wanting to go to the sneak peak of Zombieland tonight. He had an extra ticket which allows two people in. He invited me and the date was set!

We met up early and headed to Smoky Mountain Brewery and had a few drinks before we headed to the movie. We met up with Mike D and Megan and made our way in. As soon as we turned the corner into the packed theater I see a hand go up, it's Will, with his girl. We said hi and when ventured out for some seats. Of course the only thing available is lower seats close to the screen. We got 4 in the center of a row about 8 rows back, it really wasn't that bad. I actually like sitting down there, really lets you know your in a theater.

Well, since this is a sneak peak it's sponsored, so some of the 104.5 DJs were there and each got a slice of time to speak to the audience. I don't know anything about the DJs, nor had I ever heard of them but the first dude up was a stocky little, loud mouth type of dude. He was wearing a MLB hat backwards so I couldn't see the team, I assumed it was the Braves. He was doing his thing and I was sorta listening and talking with Travis when I hear, "There's a guy up here wearing a Phillies champs shirt." See example:
I was in fact wearing that shirt. Not sure what sparked him to say that but I proceeded to yell, "Yeah that's right!" or something along those lines. He then says, "Yeah, probably just another bandwagon fan!" I then respond, "I was at game 4, 10-2! What were you doing that night?" then added, "The Braves suck" and he responded,"Yeah they do!" I could of railed into him but I bailed. What even causes someone to say that? A bandwagon fan? Really? He doesn't know me. I have been a Phillies fan since before I even knew what baseball was, due to my pops. I mean my name is eerily similar to my teams name. (I know that's not why, but I like to think it has a little something to do with it.) He went on with his routine and finally turned around so I could see the logo on his hat. Man! I wish I had known it was the freakin Mets before our little encounter! They are one of the worse teams in the league and judging by our brief encounter and his "quick to snap" attitude he knows it. In fact I'd be willing to bet I know more about the Mets than him too! Darryl Strawberry was one of my favs and I even remember seeing Dwright Gooden (Mets pitcher) hit a homer when I was wee. Ohwell, Phillies clinch the NL East and the Mets loss by a walk off grand slam to the Nationals, which are only the worse team in the NL, just barely nudging out the Mets.

Ok to the movie, simple, easy review. The BEST zombie movie I have ever seen! Well thought out, funny, smart, well filmed, and awesome motion graphics. I look forward to seeing it again.

After the movie we went to Brixx and had a buffalo chicken and a pepporani with jalapeno pizzas. Then we adjourned to meet up with Matt and Dan at a little club of Kingston pike to check out a band. It was nice to see a small show in a small space, I really enjoy that. After that we headed to the Old City to play some Adams Family pinball. That was fun then we decided to head home and it was only 2am. Needless to say, I slept in a tad and didn't get to work until 10.
