Annual Titans trip
Yup, drove straight to Whichwich for lunch on Vandy campus as usual. Enjoied possibly the BEST sandwich known to man, the Wicked! 5 meats, 3 cheeses, buffalo sauce, ranch, and parmesan. So amazing! Mary got a turkey and cheese which looked equally amazing.
After we headed to the hotel.
LP Field on Saturday!
They were totally full from the night before and still cleaning so we couldn't check in yet so we just walked downtown for a drink and some shopping. It was a super strange atmosphere. With all the Eagles fans in town and the Phillies playing their biggest game of the season that night everyone was rockin Phillies gear, including me!
Unfortunately they last ending their season, I could of been taken as a sign of immediate things to come! :)
In our seats!
We headed over to they tailgate with the GoTitans crew. They make some AWESOME food! The had Eagle nuggets (hot wings)! Caught up with everyone, knocked back a few and headed over the the stadium to meet up with Arron and Misty. We hung out next to the outside band, drank the rest of my 12 pack and headed to our seats. We made plans to meet up after and head to Bailey's for drinks and the 4 o'clock games.
After the win!
Mary is 4-0 at regular season Titans games! 5-0 at this field and 5-1 lifetime. It wasn't looking good but they pulled it out. Britt had a breakout game! 7 catches, 225 yards and 3 TDs! It was a really awesome game. It was 10-13 Eagles going into the 4th and we put up 27 points and they only managed 3! 37-19 victory. Only thing that sucked was Vince and Vick were both hurt and did not play.
So we headed to Bailey's after the game to reconnected with Arron and Misty. I was ready to drink again as my buzz was wearing off. I have developed a routine for the games. Get a ton of beer down before the game and let that set in. As the game gets close to the end I'm feeling soberish and can concentrate on the end of the game. They managed to get a table and the drinking began. Mary did shots with us, it was great. Arron had a Bailey's card so our wings were half price and we got a free shirt! We dropped a bill that night but who cares?! It was a great time with some great people! Look forward to doing it again!

Movie night
We get the normal awesome seats at the rail after missing maybe one preview. 30 minutes in I have to use the bathroom as does Ben, plus I had just received a call from Mark at Fastech confirming my car was done and a final pricetag, whoa!
It began clear that I had drunk to much and the movie wasn't grabbing me. The first portion was entertaining but the middle trailed off and became boring. Maybe it was just me? Maybe the beer? Maybe the movie? Not sure which but I think a second viewing is in order. Ben and Travis later confirmed the movie wasn't all that in their opinions either.
After Ben and I headed to Latitude 35 for some beers and baseball. Phils played the Giants, game 4 in San Fran. Sore subject: Phils lost a horrible game in which they should of won. Lost on a sacrifice fly too, lame!

Rawlings Wedding Day!
Molly looked as beautiful as the day, with a smile you couldn't knock of her face with a shovel.
The ceremony was short and sweet.
After, we strolled up the beach to the reception on the pier. We chatted with the head chef for a while as folks gathered. They had a musical rocking a good custom looking guitar paying covers softly in the background, really nice touch. The sun set , beers were popped and dinner was served.
Their first dance.
The cake cutting. Clif got a face full just about as bad as I did.
We saw the Rawlings off with rose pedal showers and the headed down the beach. They were off to the Hilton in downtown Savannah with plans to head to ATL in the am to catch their flight to the Bahamas.
We cleaned up, put everything in Dustin's truck but... we had more than a half keg of beer! What should we do? Well...we'll do what anyone would do, keg stands! We had been joking about it all night but this was on. Arron goes first and then... Molly's dad, YES! Molly's dad says, "I'll go!" I sent a pic to Clif and Molly and they LOVED it and wanted more, so...we gave them more!
Just about everyone took a turn and how cool is it that the bridesmaids were the feet holders?! Amazing, and they took their turns as well. Once everyone had gone their was still plenty of beer left so we invited passers-by to join in. That last pic is one of them. So everyone is beer'd out and there is still plenty of beer left. The whole, who is responsible for the keg question arose and turns out they left. Well we emptied the keg and carried it back to the hotel and Dustin took it to make sure the taker backers could get it Sunday morning to return it Monday.
Everyone was pretty much done for the the night, the Phils had just lost and bars in Tybee close at midnight due to the alcohol laws so I took a walk. The moon was more than half full so I strolled down the beach. Man was it peaceful. I walked for quite a while enjoying the water, fresh air and quite. What a great night!

Savannah trip
Arrived at our hotel on Tybee Island around 4:30 Friday to prepare for the Rawlings rehearsal dinner.
The view from our room. Sorta strange that we were the only ones to stay on the ocean side of the hotel. Guess I'm just a nature/water person, you can look at your window at a parking lot just about anywhere, why do it when your other option is beautiful ocean? I guess some just prefer money to experiences. Anyways, you can see the pier where the wedding reception will take place.
With the nice, quite, fun and delicious rehearsal over it was time to hit up the local spots. Again, strange that some of Clif's closest didn't join him. Mary, Arron and I sure did along with several others on Molly's side including her super cool brother.
We ended up bouncing around and closing Tybee down at 3:30am. I was pretty gone and Clif was worse off than me, I felt bad. I couldn't eat until about 3pm and it seemed Clif was fine, shocking. He had a little more riding on the day than I so he forced himself to overcome, wish I had them skills.

New window!
Old
New
Safelite couldn't do the replacement at the house so I had to come to them. They are super nice there but failed to mention one small thing. That after the 2-3 hours of waiting time that it would be an additional hour of wait time before it could be driven. But the nice lady, Donna, at the front desk knocked 50 bucks off the total which was really nice.
So I'm pacing outside and a man that earlier asked me if I'd like a better place it sit (had my computer in my lap) and if I'd like a drink comes up to me and asks if I'd like a ride to somewhere for lunch. He was heading to Turkey Creek. I had been there since 8:30am and it was 15 after 12. I said no thanks but I really appreciated it. He asked me about the car some and I started talking to him about the company. He ended up showing me around, the training area, the warehouse. It's just as you would picture it. A huge warehouse with aisles and aisles of windows floor to ceiling. Mary's car has a crack and I told him I'd probably be back to replace it. He said well, "We are doing this training seminar and I'll give you a huge discount if we can use her car." I said well sure that'd be great! He also mentioned they used the S with the class to demonstrate how to install a window so one of the better window installers in the region did the job. So I'm just waiting for a call with a price and time. Thought that was pretty cool.

Phillies over the weekend
Sunday Hamels took the mound in Cincinnati. Hamels pitched a 5 hit full game shut out! I believe I heard it was the first time in the postseason that that was the first time 2 shut outs were pitched in a series. We took the series in 3 games. The Yankees swept also. The other 2 series went longer. Braves lost out to the Giants and the Rangers over came the Rays, nice job Lee! We will face the Giants on Saturday. Halladay v. Lincecum at 7:30. I'll be at a wedding but will be looking for a TV as soon as it's over.

Saturday
After some awesome (and cheap) food. We headed to the corn maze at Maple Lane Farms. It was dark so Mary picked us up some flashlights at Walgreens. We get to pick a tip sheet with questions that help lead you in the right direction. We got 2, TV & Movies and a sports one.
Here is the maze, can you tell who sponsored it?
It took a hilariously fun hour and a half to make it through.
Scary smiley Mary in the dark

Right sleeve work.
Matt opened the shop up early to fit in some work on my sleeve. Got there at 10am, under the gun by 10:15 and wrapped it up at 15 til 12. Super awesome job as usual. Got a full day appointment Nov 24th, 11am to 5pm but he is going to squeeze me in a few more mornings before then,
Wednesday!
That morning to text everyone to not text me about the game. In the movie I look at my watch right at 5:10, probably first couple of pitches thrown. After the movie we headed to the Brewery for some drinks but ended up at Sapphire due to the crowd. I get a text from Jason and notice it has Phils at the end so Travis reads it and texts him back that I haven't watched it yet. Later Jason calls me to apologize. I still didn't know what exactly happened so I'm good. 10 minutes later Ben calls and I'm thinking he is off work and can come join us. "Congrats on the no hitter dude!" First thing he says. Deflated! Really?! did i miss... no!! I told Ben the situation and was very apologetic.
Once home I made it through about 7 innings before passing out. Woke up at 1am on the couch, with all the lights off. Headed to bed and woke up at 6:30am ready to finish the game. Halladay was just nasty! He missed the perfect game by one pitch, on a 3 - 2 walk. Second post season no hitter in history in his first post season game! Something like 18 first pitch strikes and was ahead in the count more often than not. I'm just really hoping Oswalt and Hamels can follow suit and roast them. The Reds have an extra day to think about and let it screw up there thought process. Can't wait for game two Friday night!
Back to the movie. It was really good, very impressed by good ol' Ben.

Evo Progress
Bored out and new pistons, rods, and bearings installed!
Bottom of the block
Head with new valve seals all cleaned up.
AMS balance shaft delete
It's pretty clean I promise!
Not too lonely, future 800hp RSX, SRT4 getting built and an STi waiting in line for a tune. The scrap on the lip sure looks bad in that lighting situation about time to fix that with some carbon!

Phillies ATL Trip 2010 Day 2
Super nice close parking! See the stadium back there!?
Pitchers warming up. That's Blaton and Worley right in front. See that big green open space in the outfield between the seats? After playing catch Blaton chucked a ball from where he is standing into that area with what look liked little effort.
The 2 seats next to the cooler are ours! Seats don't get much better than that!
Phillies were giving pitchers just a few innings to get them ready for the postseason since this game was meaningless for them. Hamels pitched 2 innings, then the guy I wanted to see!
Roy Oswalt on the mound
After Roy, came, Blaton, Baez, Zagurski, and Lidge. Ruiz was hit by a pitch and left the game but we are hoping that's just a precaution. We left in the middle of the seventh with the score 4-8 Braves. Phils scored 3 more but couldn't squeeze out that last run. This gave the Braves and playoff chance if the Padres lose. I was hoping the Padres would lose cause that would force a 3 team playoff. Giants and Padres, winner gets the division and loser comes to Atlanta for a battle for the wildcard spot. Unfortunately the Padres lost so Giants get the division title and Braves clinch wildcard.
Giants Braves and Reds Phillies, start Wednesday!
Sunday morning in ATL

Phillies ATL Trip 2010 Day 1
That's looking up at the elevator shafts from the main floor. The place was huge and buzzing with folks. It seemed most of them were attending the game as well. We went up to our room on the 35th floor and suit up for the game.
We headed outside and the valet flagged us down a taxi. Downtown Atlanta was crazy and we were in the lets get there fast mode and of course the taxi driver had to stop for gas. He was very hard to understand but seemed like a cool guy and had a good sense of humor. He drove up as close as he could and we headed into the stadium. Our seats were at the 400 level but still weren't bad. There was a Bobby Cox celebration going on so they had a stage on the field with all the current players seating up the base lines and ex players seating in front of the stage. Some included: Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, Dale Murphy, Phil Niekro, Gary Sheffield, Andres Galarraga, David Justice and Hank Arron. It was a cool little celebration of Cox's career in baseball. 25 years as a coach. The players got him and his wife an 11 day Mediterranean cruise and the organization got him a new 2010 Lexus LS 460.
Soon after Hanson throws the first pitch.
Ryan Madson pitching in the bottom of the 8th, winning 5-0.
The Phillies stomped them 7-0 and lessened their changes at making the playoffs. So after the game we decided to walk back to the hotel. It was a 1.8 mile walk and we got back in about 35 minutes and it wasn't a back walk at all. The hotel was still buzzing.
So next, we need food! Go down to the bar in hopes of food and football. The bar doesn't have food so we walk into Sear. Already knew it wasn't the place for us, no TVs, but no wait. We look over the menu and nothing seems appealing minus the 38$ steak! The host tells us about the place next door, High Velocity. We head over there (next door as in right next to Sear inside the hotel) and this is more like it! TVs everywhere, beer and bar food! Only one thing, 30 minute wait and the bar was totally full. Time for the ol' fall back, pizza. Walk over to the concierge desk and he already has the numbers for Papa John's and Domino's. Call Papa, 1-1.5 hour delivery time, awesome! We decided to put our name in at High Velocity and just wait the 30. There is a line at the host stand and time was pushed back even more. So Sear it is!
This is the ONLY thing on the menu I would of eaten that was under 35 bucks!
Yup it's a Caesar Salad made to look expensive. That bad boy was $11! Dad also got a salad.
2 salads and 2 beers (that's one each) we headed to bed.
